Yoga, Pilates, Zumba, Barre…did you know our Virtual Fitness Studio features these kinds of classes and even more? If fitness on demand is the way you like to work out, it’s time you check out all the options we have waiting for you.

Here at The Pointe Brodie Creek we utilize a platform called Wellbeats, which features hundreds of virtual fitness classes varying in length, intensity, and difficulty. Every instructor also has two assistants to show you how to modify the workouts in different ways!

If you’re ready to give this amenity a try, here are some of most popular types of classes we have available for fitness on demand.

#1: Yoga Classes

Whether you’re an avid yogi or a complete novice, there is an on-demand yoga class available that will test your flexibility. Namaste!

#2: Cycling Classes

Yes, the Virtual Fitness Studio comes equipped with four stationary cycling bikes. It’s the perfect setting for doing a solo trip or group ride.

You don’t clip into the bikes like you do at a traditional cycling studio, however. So, make sure to wear comfortable, slip-resistant shoes.

#3: Pilates Classes

Grab a mat and prepare to stretch! Our fitness on demand portal features plenty of Pilates.

There are even some classes that incorporate yoga and Pilates together for a “fusion” experience. Try it out!

#4: Kickboxing Classes

Ready to knock out your fitness goals with a one-two punch? Try kickboxing!

The classes we have available are inspired by martial arts to get you into that fighter mentality.

#5: Zumba Classes

Zumba classes are always a ton of fun. They get you moving, grooving, and having fun. It’s a great workout that doesn’t feel too intense or overwhelming, especially if you’re starting a brand-new fitness routine.

#6: Dance Classes

Maybe Zumba isn’t your thing, but you love to dance. Next time you head up to the Virtual Fitness Studio, look for another dance class in the fitness on demand dashboard!

There are stomp classes, hip hop classes, Latin classes, and more.

#7: Barre Classes

Pure Barre has been a popular way to work out for a while now. It trains you like a ballerina, working every muscle in your body to get into tip-top shape.

While we do have a local studio you can join, this form is free! See how you like barre classes here at The Pointe Brodie Creek before you commit to a studio that does it exclusively.

#8: Body Weight Classes

Sometimes, you don’t need kettle bells or free weights to get in a great workout. Body weight exercises can be just as intense!

Our fitness on demand dashboard has a whole range of body weight classes you can choose from. Give it a go and see how you like it.

#9: Core Classes

Everyone has different fitness goals. Some people are interested in toning their arms, legs, back, etc. But, maybe you’re more concerned about your core.

To start building strength in your core, look for fitness classes labeled with “core” as the body focus.

#10: Circuit Training Classes

Intervals, intervals, intervals. Prepare to do a ton of intervals if you select a circuit training class.

This type of high-intensity workout aims to build your endurance. It’s a great option if you’re training for something like a marathon!

#11: Strength Training Classes

Strength training is a blanket term for a lot of classes. That’s why it has it’s own “channel” in our fitness on demand portal.

What’s great about the Wellbeats system is that you can sort and filter your options several different ways. Look for classes under “Strength Training” tagged with the body part and intensity level you’re comfortable with.

That’s how you can build strength strategically and customize your workouts to fit your needs.

#12: On-The-Go Classes

If you live a busy lifestyle, you may not have time to try any of these on-demand fitness classes. But, don’t feel left out!

There’s an entire section of short, on-demand fitness classes called “Office Breaks” you can do anywhere, anytime. Once you learn the moves, you can do mini workouts at your desk, on the couch, or between meetings while you’re on the go.

How to Start Doing Fitness on Demand

Now, that you know the kinds of classes our Virtual Fitness Studio offers, you need to know how to get started. It’s super easy!

All you do is walk into the studio, tap on the Wellbeats screen, select a class, and hit Start. The projector screen will come down, the virtual instructor will appear, and the class will begin.
