Not all apartments have event space, but we do here at The Pointe Brodie Creek. For occasions small, large, or in between, you can find an event space that fits your needs in our community.

Get ready to invite friends and family members over to enjoy your luxurious new home, because we have a Wine Cellar, Poker Lounge, Banquet Room, and Movie Theater ready for you to reserve. Whenever you are ready to host the perfect event, here is everything you need to know about doing so onsite.

Events in the Wine Cellar

Want to host an intimate gathering of your closest friends? Perhaps a dinner party, or a wine tasting? The Wine Cellar on the second floor of the clubhouse is the perfect event space for you.

There, you will find a wet bar, high-top tables, and a television for entertainment. Plus, it’s completely free to reserve! Just limit your guests to nine people, follow our community rules, and clean up after yourself. Simple as that!

To use this event space, just go online through your resident portal to make a reservation. You can reserve the space in two-hour increments.

Bonus Tip: If you lease a wine locker in our Wine Cellar, you can keep all your wine there for your guests! You will always be set for a wine night with your closest friends and family.

Events in the Poker Lounge

Just beyond the wine cellar, we have another event space called the Poker Lounge. Just like the wine cellar, the maximum capacity is ten people (you, plus 9 guests) and it is completely free to reserve.

Now, before you skip over this option because you do not play (or like) poker, you need to think outside the box. Beyond poker, we have other board games you can play in the Poker Lounge, or you are welcome to bring your own. It is the perfect spot for a more casual event, like a game night or watch party.

Again, if you would like to host an event in this space, you need to reserve it first through your resident portal. If you have any questions, please ask a member of our office staff.

Events in the Banquet Room

For gatherings that require a little bit more event space, the Banquet Room is your best bet. The maximum occupancy of this room is 30 people, and it is just down the hall from our Wine Cellar and Poker Lounge.

The Banquet Room features a long, banquet table, high-top tables, a television, sink, and plenty of counter space for displaying food, drinks, and gifts. Residents love using this room for birthday parties, bridal showers, baby showers, family reunions, and more.

Head’s up: This event space is the only one in the apartment community that has fees associated with using it. But, do not worry, a one-hour reservation is only $50. If you reserve the room for a longer amount of time, your fees will depreciate. For example, a six-hour reservation is $200, not $300.

For a full breakdown of the reservation fees, please review your Resident Handbook. There is a copy of this document in your resident portal, as well, if you cannot locate your copy. The portal is also where you can go to reserve the space and pay your fees.

Events in the Movie Theater

The largest event space we have at our apartment community is the 78-seat Movie Theater on the third floor of the clubhouse. Most people are shocked when they see this space for the first time, as it looks like a real theater! So, if you want to impress your friends, invite them over for a movie marathon. Our concierge will even make popcorn for you and allow you to select a film from our library of over 3,000 titles.

The Movie Theater is more than just a movie theater, though. We have an AppleTV as well as an HDMI set-up, so anything with Bluetooth or an HDMI port can be streamed, played, or viewed on the big screen.

Some residents host seminars and group study sessions there, while others use it for gaming tournaments and watch parties. We even had a couple get married there!

To reserve this space, please visit the resident portal and find an open time slot. You can even make a note regarding the movie you want to watch. Our concierge will have it ready to play when you get there. If you need to store any snacks or beverages, you can use the kitchenette located behind the theater.

Events in Your Apartment

For small get-togethers, you can always invite guests over to your apartment. All we ask is that you be a good neighbor and remain mindful of those living in the apartments surrounding yours. Giving your neighbors a heads-up that you will be hosting guests is the best place to start.

Remember to inform your guests of our community policies regarding parking, quiet hours, etc. They also cannot leave your apartment to visit the clubhouse without your accompaniment.
