What is Little Rock known for? What are the best places to go and things to see? We asked members of our staff to answer these questions and offer their recommendations.

What is Little Rock known for?
Kelli: Little Rock is known for friendly people, lots of activities, and the great outdoors.
Bryn: Little Rock is known for the history we have here, from Little Rock Central High School to the Clinton Presidential Library.
Maya: Little Rock is known for the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR) and the Trojans! There are a lot of big sports fans here.
Brittany: We have some of the best food in the state of Arkansas. Also, the Clinton Presidential Library is fantastic.
Justin: Little Rock is known for everything that’s down by the river – the Downtown life where’s there’s lots of places to go out and eat.
What is it like to live in Little Rock?
Bryn: Living in Little Rock is fabulous!
Maya: Living in Little Rock is like getting the best of both worlds: You get the small town feel with all the benefits of big city living.
Brittany: Living is Little Rock is fantastic! You have so many options for food, shopping…you name it. There is everything for every kind of person.
Justin: Living in Little Rock is great. As someone from a small town, Little Rock has so many more things you can do and see.
What is your favorite place to go in Little Rock?
Bryn: Pinnacle Mountain.
Edie: Pinnacle Mountain. It’s just beautiful there. They have easy trails, hard trails, whatever you feel like doing.
Jose: Dave & Busters! Or go paintballing…
Maya: The Rave movie theater. On Tuesdays, they have $5 movie nights!
Brittany: Go downtown and float the Arkansas River with a kayak tour through Rock Town River Outfitters.
Justin: Any of our golf courses. That’s where you can find me!
What is your favorite restaurant in Little Rock?
Kelli: Bruno’s Little Italy. It’s been a Little Rock staple for years and the food is fabulous.
Bryn: The Flying Fish.
Edie: Dave & Busters! They have every appetizer you could want, plus drinks and games galore.
Maya: Tokyo House. It’s an all-you-can-eat sushi bar.
Brittany: BJ’s Brewhouse.
Justin: JJ’s Bar & Grill.
What is your favorite bar in Little Rock?
Bryn: Zin Wine & Beer Bar.
Edie: West End.
Maya: West End.
Kelli: Willy D’s.
Brittany: My husband loves The Flying Saucer. It’s got a great variety and a great menu.
Justin: Ernie Bigg’s. They’ve got the live piano and then the dance floor upstairs.
Jose: Thirsty Thursday at The Pointe Brodie Creek!
What is the best family-friendly thing to do in Little Rock?
Bryn: Go to the Little Rock Zoo or the River Market.
Jose: I like taking my family to Two Rivers Park.
Kelli: The Old State House.
Maya: The Museum of Discovery downtown. It has exhibits for people of all ages. I direct a lot of people there.
What is the best place to shop in Little Rock?
Bryn: The Promenade.
Brittany: The Promenade. The #1 thing I need is a great restaurant with great shopping that I can just walk to. TJ Maxx/Home Goods is the best store I’ve ever been to.
Maya: The Promenade on Chenal.
Edie: Park Plaza Mall. They have underground parking, which I like because it keeps your car cool in the summer!
Justin: The Outlets of Little Rock next to Bass Pro.
