  • Argenta Arts DistrictArgenta is the area just east of Dickey-Stephens Park that centers around North Little Rock’s Main Street. There, you will find some fun bars, incredible restaurants, and art galleries. There, top destinations include The Argenta Farmers Market –which is a great place to grab local produce on Saturdays – and The Joint Theater & Coffeehouse – where you can watch comedy, stand-up, improv, and musical performances all throughout the week.
  • Hillcrest – Between The Heights and Riverdale, Hillcrest is a hopping area for people of all ages. Here, you will find great restaurants, coffee shops, and bars as well as beautiful boutiques all along Kavanaugh Boulevard.
  • Quapaw Quarter – Located near the Governor’s Mansion, the Quapaw Quarter is one of the most historic districts in Downtown Little Rock. You should drive the streets on your own at least once to take in all the architecture on some of Little Rock’s most historic homes.
  • Riverdale – Just a few minutes northwest of Downtown Little Rock, Riverdale is a quiet community at the base of Cantrell Hill that sits right next to the Arkansas River. It’s got some funky dive bars, a great movie theater (showing both mainstream and indie films), and pretty parks to check out.
  • SoMa – The Southside Main Street neighborhood (SoMa) is across I-630 from Downtown Little Rock. Like Argenta, it’s an up-and-coming area with quaint shops and delicious restaurants. On Sundays, you should stop by the Bernice Garden Farmers Market.
  • The Heights – Heading north on Kavanaugh from Hillcrest, you will eventually wind your way up to The Heights. It is home to great boutiques, shops, bars, and restaurants, as well. At different points in the year, The Heights also hosts some awesome street festivals.
