Our App In-Depth: How to Use the Bulletin Board

The COVID-19 crisis has made social distancing the new normal. But staying connected is still super important! That’s why it’s so amazing to have technology like our resident app at your fingertips to communicate across our luxury apartment community.

A great way to get connected to other residents with similar interests and ideas on our app is by using the Bulletin Board. Your neighbors regularly post about groups they want to start, outings they want to host, items they want to sell, and services they want to offer. It’s awesome!

We’ve explained how easy it is to reserve an amenity or submit a service request using our app, and now it’s time to show you what the Bulletin Board can do. Let’s get started!

Step #1: Get the Resident App

To use The Pointe Brodie Creek Bulletin Board, you first need our resident app.

If you don’t already have it downloaded, just search for “Richardson Management” in the App Store or Google Play Store.

Once you download the app and enter your personal information, it will confirm your resident account here at The Pointe Brodie Creek and allow you to open our app.

Step #2: Open the Bulletin Board

After you log into The Pointe Brodie Creek app, the Bulletin Board is just a tap away. Just locate on the push pin icon at the bottom of the home screen!

You can now tap there to open the Bulletin Board, see what your neighbors are posting about, and then tap on their posts to send them a reply.

Step #3: Make a Bulletin Post

Now that you know where to find the Bulletin Board and how to view bulletin posts, you may want to make a post of your own.

There are two ways you can make a bulletin board post in our app, and both are easy to find.

Pencil & Paper Button

On the Bulletin Board itself, you should see a small pencil and paper icon at the top of the screen. Tap on this icon to create your own bulletin post.

I want to… Button

Alternatively, on the main screen of the app, you can find the black I want to… button.

On Apple devices, this button will be located at the top of your screen. On Android devices, it will be located at the bottom of your screen.

When you tap on the I want to… button, the Actions menu will appear.

Then, you can select the Bulletin Post option on an Apple device or the Post to the Bulletin option on an Android device.

Step #4: Submit a Bulletin Post

This New Post form is where you will enter the details of your bulletin post.

Simply enter your subject, post content, and add a photo. Voila! You just submitted your first bulletin board post.

From there, your post is sent to The Pointe Brodie Creek office staff, who will review and approve your post for public viewing on the Bulletin Board.

Please Note: We only reject posts if they violate community policies, and you will not be notified if your post is rejected. If after two business days you do not see your post appear on the Bulletin Board, you can contact our office to appeal the rejection.

Step #5: Respond to Your Bulletin Post

Once your bulletin post is approved, your neighbors can view and respond to it. Any replies you receive will be delivered to your inbox inside the app and added as comments on your post.

If you ever want to take down your bulletin post, just open the Bulletin Board and tap Delete under your post.
