With social distancing being the way of the world today, our staff continues to stay creative to keep our community engaged and excited. If that means shifting how we host events, we are happy to do it!

Whether is a virtual hangout or a socially distant happy hour, there is always something on the schedule here at The Pointe Brodie Creek. If you are having trouble keeping up, we have some tips for you!

It starts with taking advantage of all the awesome features in our resident app. There, we have an event calendar and send you event invitations as new events are added.

We’ve already shown you how easy it is to reserve an amenity, submit a service request , and make a bulletin board post using the app, and now we want to help you start RSVPing to events.

Let’s get started!

STEP #1: DOWNLOAD OUR APP

To keep up with all the events happening here at The Pointe Brodie Creek, you need to have our resident app. If you already have it downloaded, skip to Step #2!

If you don’t have it on your phone or tablet, just search for “Active Building” in the App Store or Google Play Store.

Once you download the app and enter your personal information, it will confirm you have a resident account here and allow you to open the app.

STEP #2: OPEN THE EVENTS CALENDAR

Did you get logged in? Awesome. Now, it’s time to find our events calendar!

On the home screen, you should see a series of three lines in the upper lefthand. That's the menu!

Open on the menu and scroll down to find the Events tab and tap to open it.

STEP #3: EXPLORE UPCOMING EVENTS

Tapping on the Events tab will prompt all our upcoming events to pop up at your fingertips.

Events will be listed in chronological order, with the soonest events showing up first. As you scroll through the schedule, you can see a quick snippet of all the upcoming food trucks, parties, and other gatherings.

If an event looks interesting, just tap on it for more details!

STEP #4: RSVP TO AN EVENT

If an event piques your interest, you should let us know you plan to go.

It’s easy! Just tap on the Go button. If guests are allowed, you can add a plus one or two to your RSVP and hit Submit.

Once you’re done signing up for an event, you can press the Done button, then see yourself marked as Going on the event.

Please Note: For events with limited capacity, the number of available spots will be listed on the event details screen. When you know you can make it, you have to RSVP before all the spots are taken!

There you have it. You’re all set up for social success here at The Pointe Brodie Creek!
