Our App In-Depth: How to Use the Community Wall

The COVID-19 crisis has made social distancing the new normal. But staying connected is still super important! That’s why it’s so amazing to have technology like our resident app at your fingertips to communicate across our luxury apartment community.
A great way to get connected to other residents with similar interests and ideas on our app is by using the Community Wall. Your neighbors can post there about tips they want to share, items they want to sell, and businesses they recommend. It’s awesome!
We’ve explained how easy it is to reserve an amenity or submit a service request using our app, and now it’s time to show you what the Bulletin Board can do. Let’s get started!
STEP #1: GET THE RESIDENT APP
To use The Pointe Brodie Creek Community Wall, you first need our resident app.
If you don’t already have it downloaded, just search for “Active Building” in the App Store or Google Play Store.
Once you download the app and enter your personal information, it will confirm your resident account here at The Pointe Brodie Creek and allow you to open the app.
STEP #2: OPEN THE COMMUNITY WALL
After you log into the ActiveBuilding app, the Community Wall is just a tap away.
Tap on the three lines in the upper lefthand corner of your screen, then scroll down to Community Wall.
Tap that tab to see what everyone is posting!
STEP #3: MAKE A POST
Now that you know where to find the Community Wall and how to view posts, you may want to make a post of your own.
Conveniently, the post creator is located at the top of the wall!
You can share a general update, an item you have for sell, a local business recommendation, or even a poll. If you have a photo to share, you can attach it to your post, too!
STEP #4: SUBMIT A POST
When you tap Post on the content you've drafted, your post will be sent to our staff for approval.
We will then review your post to make sure it follows our community guidelines, and then approve or deny the posting accordingly.
STEP #5: REACT TO YOUR POST
If we approve your post, it will be live on the Community Wall for your neighbors to see and respond to.
They can like and comment on your post, and you can respond to them to keep the conversation going!
Now that you know how to use the Community Wall on our app, we hope you use it more often. It’s a quick and easy way to keep in contact with the rest of the community virtually!
